As a new player in the UK education space, AEN needed visibility fast – not just impressions, but high-quality student leads that convert into applications. Their core objective was to connect with international and domestic students via channels they actually use – social media – while telling a compelling story about the value of studying in the UK.
The goal: drive student inquiries and applications at scale through content that educates, engages, and converts.
To solve these challenges, we developed a content-first strategy combined with a performance-focused social media advertising system. We began by defining a clear content framework that spoke directly to the goals and concerns of prospective students. This included educational posts, FAQ-driven videos, testimonial creatives, and step-by-step guides to simplify the application journey.
Our team created branded visuals, motion graphics, and short-form video assets designed to stop the scroll and capture attention within the first three seconds. Each piece of content was mapped to a specific stage in the student decision-making funnel – from awareness to consideration to conversion.
We then launched full-funnel Meta Ads campaigns, using interest-based and custom audience targeting to attract students actively researching study options. High-performing creatives were scaled across multiple ad sets, while underperforming variations were quickly replaced through continuous A/B testing.
To drive efficiency, we implemented retargeting flows and lookalike audiences based on engaged users and completed applications. These layers increased message relevance and significantly improved conversion rates. In parallel, we aligned the creative and messaging with landing pages built for conversions, integrating real-time chat and call-to-action triggers.
This integrated approach allowed us to generate consistent results, improve cost efficiency, and deliver a scalable student acquisition system powered by content and paid social.
